Privacy policy
This explains what XenoComp Events stores and why. XenoComp runs the service on behalf of the organizations that use it.
What is stored
- Account details: name, email and a scrambled form of your password. Nobody can read your password.
- Your organization: your role, group and office.
- What you do here: event replies and answers, sign-ups, votes, judging scores, contest entries, raffle tickets and photos you upload.
- Security records: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and the network address and email of sign-in attempts, kept for about a day to stop password guessing.
How it is used
Only to run events: showing them to the right people, counting votes, drawing raffles and sending emails about them. It is not sold, and there is no advertising or third-party tracking on this site.
Who can see it
- Your organization's admins and organizers can see your details and activity in their events, including how you replied and the votes recorded for you. Other people see things like attendee lists and results when an event shows them.
- Other organizations cannot see your information.
- XenoComp administrators can access it to run and support the service.
- Email and hosting providers handle it as needed to deliver email and host the site.
Keeping and removing it
Information stays until an organization removes it. To correct or remove your information, ask your organization's admin, or contact XenoComp at xenocomp.com. Removing someone from an organization keeps their past results on record.
